Updated Google Hangouts 2.1 Consolidating SMS and IM Conversations

Google Hangouts for Android previously have begun offering management support SMS through it, and today through Hangouts update 2.1, it integrates and unites more support SMS and IM in a single view.

Through this update, you can see the conversation and communication with a person either via IM or SMS in the same window, without having to change the display settings as before. Users can also choose to not unite if they want.

In addition, 2.1 Hangouts also facilitate the users to choose those that have access to the hangouts and they can be contacted via SMS.

Some other updates included is support widgets, some new sounds and so on.

Google Hangouts Update 2.1 is being rolled out gradually to all Android users around the world.
